There are more than two ways to look at life. Variety is the spice of it, of this I am certain. We need roots and wings. We need to be connected and we need to be self-reliant. I am no comedic genius or philosopher, but every day I find profound truth in laughter and poetic justice. (I am so Phil Conners right now.) We all get in the weeds, so to speak, with the many demands on our time, chasing dreams, or just catching up on everything we forgot to do yesterday. Whatever the weather, we’re in this thing together. Let’s live it up!
Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always To be blest:
The soul, uneasy and confin’d from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
Alexander Pope, An Essay on Man
